The Install
Six steps, start to finish.
Lay it against your map
15 minWork bed by bed, following the laminated layout. The pipe goes on top of the soil, roughly a hand's width from the base of each plant. Nothing is fixed yet, so move it freely.
Peg it down
20 minPush a ground peg over the pipe about every metre, and one on each side of a bend. Thumb pressure is enough in worked soil.
Click the connectors together
10 minSnap-lock fittings join the runs: push until you hear the click, then tug to check. Tees split a bed, elbows turn a corner, and the end cap closes each run.
Fit the tap computer
5 minScrew the computer onto your outdoor tap by hand and attach the feed line. It arrives pre-programmed for your garden, so there is nothing to set up.
Run a test cycle and walk the beds
20 minTrigger a manual cycle, then walk every run watching for damp spread. Nudge a peg or re-seat a fitting where you want more water. That's the job done.
Total hands-on time for a typical garden: around 70 minutes, plus the 20 minutes the pipe spends relaxing in the sun while you make a cup of tea.

The things people ask before ordering.
My beds are an awkward shape.
Curves are what dripline is good at. Your map is drawn to your own sketch, so the run already follows the shape you sent us.
My garden slopes.
Tell us on your order and we route the run along the contour rather than down it, so water soaks in evenly instead of pooling at the bottom.
My outdoor tap is already in use.
We include a splitter so your hose and your dripline share the tap. Nothing has to be disconnected.
What if I move house?
Unclip the fittings, pull the pegs, roll the pipe up. The whole system lifts out in fifteen minutes and goes back down anywhere.
Winter
Taking it down takes ten minutes.
Before the first hard freeze, open the end caps to drain the line and bring the tap computer indoors so trapped water can't expand and crack the components. The pipe and pegs can stay where they are. Come spring, screw the computer back on and you're running again.
